I learned about the Rimz clips on here and I've been using for several months. I'm very happy with these and they are very easy to use by hand, no tools needed.
I just came back from the range an hour ago. I ran 60 rounds through my 625. I know it was 60 rounds because I only have 10 moon clips. I need to buy more. Moon clips were new to me and this forum helped me understand them. One member recommended the RIMZ polymer moon clips and I am glad I...
Very nice. I just got one myself and I also love shooting it. I am about to start reloading for .45 acp, which is a new cartridge for me on my Dillon 550b. Currently I reload for 9mm, .38, and .357 magnum. All of those are with the small pistol primers. Should I reload the .45acp with large...
Thank you @Jim Watson I wound up ordering these. I took them to the range the day they arrived, and they were awesome. Easy to load and unload and they worked flawlessly. I may buy another set of 10 once I start reloading the .45acp. I have to buy the shell conversion kit and the dies for my...
First off, I want to thank all you gentleman for your replies. I know this is the site I go to when I'm in search of expert advice. After seeing the Polymer moon clips that Jim Watson posted up, I believe that is the way I'm going. This way I can run the .45 ACP and not have to invest in...
I bought a gun from a neighbor after her husband passed away. I am not familiar with the gun. It may have never been used. I like the idea that it was a .45acp., a performance center version and a nice PC case to go with it. I understand S&W no longer make this revolver. I'm trying to learn...
A fellow just sold a nearly new 2020 Colt Python 6" for $1450 on another forum. If I had seen the post an hour earlier, I would have bought it. I want one, but not for over $1500.
I was six and the rifle was .22 bolt action Marlin. Not sure exactly on the model. My Grandfather raised my brothers and I, and he owned a garage door company in town. My Grandfather and my Uncle made my brothers and I an indoor rifle range. A 50ft. indoor range with a metal trap fastened to...
Thank you Steve51. This was good advice. I contacted Ruger, they had me print a mailing label. I Shipped the gun from FedEx. Ruger sent me 3 updated emails in one day, received gun, fixing gun, shipping gun back. These emails kept me from guessing and worrying if all was received. I had the...
I looked at several small 9mm for my EDC. After my research I narrowed it down to 2 pistols, the Hellcat and the P365. I like them both, but the Sig felt more solid on the recoil and I shot it better. I chose the P365 with a safety and have fired many reloads and factory ammo without a misfire.
I was happy just to get the pistol back together. I didn't want to have to ship them a box of parts. Now I can call Ruger tomorrow. Thanks for the help.
I took out the cylinder, and I was able to cock and fire the gun. Still no good with the cylinder back in. I further examined the gun with a flashlight and I noticed something moving freely behind the transfer bar. I was able to coax it out with a toothbrush. The piece appears to have...
