You are using the old High Contrast theme. We have installed a new dark theme for you, called UI.X. This will work better with the new upgrade of our software. You can select it at the bottom of any page.
If you get the RIA, get the tactical. Its upgrades are worth it if you aren't after the simple nostalgia of the GI model.
Funny, this is the second time in a few short minutes I've had reason to post this old picture (the gun is still there many years later)
Sure we do. We can complain about a GOP that picks which candidate they want before the public even has a say, and promotes the hell out of him, ensuring his primary victory.
We can also complain that the candidate they pick so poorly represents his party, and is so easily demonized that his...
The money I save on guns by not paying inflated dealer prices, rackgrade, doesn't take much effort. Browsing gunbroker or buds, buying, and shooting an email to my local FFL who does easy transfers is much easier than trying to haggle the guy at the shop to sell me the $400 gun for $400 instead...
You know how some forums have a minimum post count required to use the classifieds section?
I think we need a minimum post count required to use "vs" when starting a new thread.
You only need so much power to get through a cardboard target or knock down a popper.
10mm is overkill for the stated purpose from the post you quoted.
You're asking all for competitive reasons. I would suggest that some (if not most) of your answers will come from non competitive types. So, .45acp will represent a higher than justified sample.
The only time I notice the trigger on the M&P is when I'm in slow fire, which isn't often.
When I want to stand and plink away tight groups, I grab my 1911.
When I shoot competitions, carry, shoot steel, or general fun @ speed, I grab the M&P.
This thread reminds me of someone asking why open wheel and sportscar racing is unpopular while NASCAR thrives. I can't explain it for 10mm or ALMS, but both are a damn shame.
Some of the firearms I own have been bought for the exact purpose of using as a weapon should the need arise. They aren't for target practice, hunting, or competition.
There is nothing wrong with calling a gun a weapon, unless you're THAT concerned with how liberals view you, which is a...
I have a Pelican for my scoped M1A, and made a cutout for the rifle, and 3 slots for 2 mags each. It looks good, and certainly protects the gun. On the other hand, it is big, heavy, cumbersome, and take up more space than it should.
I generally leave the case at home when I go to the range...
Use what you would on the job. Junk cars are good, as long as they still roll. Shooting over a car is not the same as 2x4 stuck in the ground like at a PPC match.
