As a CHL and college educator, I see no problems at all from allowing cc on campus. If anything, the environment just went up a few notches on the safety ladder.
There are enough statistics regarding CHL holders to more than adequately document that they are not the ones to be concerned about...

I always have good results with it. Using a nylon brush, use a generous amount and scrub it through the bore into a lather and let it soak. Dry patch will bring out blue/green 'jelly'. Repeat if needed.

Last time I flew Was just after 9/11. Was randomly selected for furhter screening at the TSA checkpoint, at the x-ray and at the boarding gate with boarding pass in hand. Seems very evident that they don't trust the screener before them. Why should I?

Gents, I thank you for the info.
The main blade does have quite a chunk out from the tip back, about 1/3 of the blade. It was dropped and landed just right to break a large chunk. It has been reground, but with that much missing, its just not right.

I have a Schrade OT model 858 that unfortunately has a damaged blade due to a case of butterfingers. Some years ago, I contacted Schrade about making a repair to it (i.e. new blade installed), they said they could, but I never got it sent off...
