Their website says it’s FA rated. Is there some indication that you shouldn’t actually be running it FA?
For the record, I’m considering either this or the SilencerCo Hybrid 46 or 46M. Either would be used for both 9mm PCC and 300BLK pistol, and perhaps 5.56. All potentially with binary triggers.
I applied to be a driver and have just been approved. Good news; they've now spent money on my background checks. Now I'll be telling them why I won't be driving.
NH is great in terms of gun culture, and I'd second the Sig Sauer Academy. Also note that if you're interested in buying anything Sig, they have in-stock inventory of just about everything made by Sig, as well as usually a lot of Magpul stuff (including PMAGs).
Unfortunately I didn't notice this until I received the stickers, but Ayotte is spelled wrong! Hopefully this can be corrected before more are sent out this way?
Awesome! Thank you.
I ordered the NY one and the Ayotte one. If its any hint at where I stand, I just moved from NY to NH and my NH plate is related to that move.
What bugs me is that no politicians are being honest about how to "prevent mass shootings". With only 2 since 1950 that occurred outside "gun-free" killzones, why aren't any of the politicians "on our side" pushing for banning killzones?
Thanks madwell... I did already send it back. I just took it to the Sig Academy Pro Shop again and had them bring it over to the factory.
I'm with you when its a few malfunctions in a new gun... but I probably should clarify... it wasn't that the slide didn't lock back after the last round...
Above is the reply that I just received from Groupon. Took me a while to do this but I gave the deals I had already purchased away and wanted to make sure that people had time to redeem them first.
My wife went with me and has come to love the look of the Sig 1911 Zombie Edition. Unfortunately she doesn't like the feel of 1911s (though she has yet to shoot one - a problem we'll soon remedy).
Should also add: the Sig Academy has decent pricing too on Sig guns, and an extra 20% off if you take a class. I'm not eligible yet though as my class isn't until later this summer.
Thanks guys! I like it when I saw the photos but I like it *much* more in person. The grips are smooth but not too smooth, especially with the frontstrap checkering.
I picked it up at the pro shop at Sig Academy in Epping, NH. They have pretty much all Sig inventory I can think of in stock...
I apologize, but the entire point of this thread is that I'm too excited. I just picked this up today. (As a side note, its the first time without having to register it with NYS first! I'm so happy to have made the move as part of the Free State Project).)
My first 1911, my new Sig Spartan...
