    Parkerizing question …

I'm not 100% sure if this would work but maybe a coat or two of some sort of exterior lacquer based paint or polyurethane where you want the metal to stay shiny, then lacquer thinner it off after parkerizing. might be worthy of another test run

    Parkerizing question …

If it's H2S it's not hard to get out of solution in water...I used to work in a chem plant where we were extracting H2S and capturing it for our processing. Just bubble clean air through it like with an aquarium air pump. The easy way to tell if its coming out is to put a penny near the top of...

Question for Dan Wesson revolver owners

If you are getting off centered primer strikes that may have been your problem. If the firing pin strikes are all well centered in the primers, I'd look at replacing the mainspring

    StaBALL 6.5

I've tried it. Got good ~.75moa accuracy with the same caliber as you. What's your powder weight? I'm right at about 2750-2800 fps with 44.2 grains

    Proficiency level for National Match

If you shoot your Garand in the NTI, P-100 or the teams matches, you are in a class of ONLY Garand shooters. The JCG match EVERYBODY shoots a Garand. I'm not sure but I think The Garand Collector's Assoc. pays your match fees IF you are a member and shoot a Garand anywhere at the National Matches.

    Is there a....?

Does anybody make a case mouth deburring / chamfering tool that does both the inside and outside at the same time instead of 2 separate operations? It would definitely have to be a caliber specific cutter.

AR assembly tool print set for home toolmakers?

I prefer the Geissele reaction rod to the upper receiver blocks. Yes it is more expensive but ZERO chance of twisting an upper receiver with the rod.

Anyone use .300 Blackout for deer?

I have 2 blackouts, an AR upper and a Rem 700. Both have killed deer and hogs out to 100 yards easily with 125 gr Nosler ballistic tips loaded to around 2380 fps. Head/ neck shots drop them on the spot, Body shots resulted in a short but obvious blood trail. When loaded with subsonic loads 208...

Yes it is....I've made a lot of money from guys betting that my "slowpoke arrows" could outpenetrate their high speed rifles through a bucket of sand.

Got lucky again - 100lbs of wheel weights

Showing up with a box of fresh donuts from the local bakery or a cold 12 pack of beer in hand when you stop to pick up those buckets of wheel weights goes a long way toward insuring that you get the next bucket too. hint hint

    Should I upgrade the 550b

I have both, BUT I only use the 650 if I have a LOT of one caliber to load (1000+) otherwise the time and trouble of switching it from one caliber to another isn't worth it compared to the 550. Someone once asked me if I had to sell a press which one would go first.....the 650.
