Just how good is the KAHR CW45?

I have a cm9 and I shoot it as well or better than my full size handguns. The trigger is ridiculously good. I think the kahrs are the real deal.

    Does your significant other shoot?

My wife is a casual shooter, meaning that she enjoys shooting so long as the weather is nice and I keep it interesting. She doesn't enjoy punching holes in paper, she wants to shoot something that reacts like a clay pigeon or a steel gong. When I'm working up a new load she will come to keep...

    38-44 Load info

Thanks; the red sharpie is a good idea. Currently I only have H110 but I also have an order for some Lil Gun that I'm waiting on. I found some data using both powders here: http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?53508-38-44-data Gives me some ideas to go off of. This should be...

    38-44 Load info

I am curious if anybody has any experience with 38-44 loads. My understanding is that the 38 special case can handle magnum pressures, it is the guns that fire them that can not handle the increased pressure and that is one of the reasons the 357 case is longer. The only firearm I have that...

Whats the most weird thing you seem out of stock during this shortage

I was caught off guard by the shortage of reloading presses, dies, ect. I purchased a Hornady LNL progressive in October but (stupidly) only purchased 1 shell plate, the one for 9mm as that was the only cartridge I had a large supply of bullets for. Several times while at the LGS my wife...

    When will supply loosen up?

I don't think supply will be catching up with demand any time soon.

HATS OFF to Missouri Bullet Co.

Last night I ordered some 124g 9mm from them, I am guessing I will be waiting the 4 weeks their site currently states. The fact that they are continuing to take and fill orders shows that they have their act together.

Why would anybody buy new these days

I generally try to buy used. The way I see it, assuming I get a decent deal on a used gun I can try out something new and if I don't like it get 100% of my money back. A mistake on a new gun purchase will cost you about 20% of what you paid new, sometimes more. It also depends on the value...

Do you have any chrono readings from those 18 grain loads?

    I'm glad... and disappointed.

A small step in the right direction.

Will all of these new AR owners be able to afford the ammo?

You are a machine! Thats 142+ rounds per hour. I can load about 50 an hour on my single stage.

Just how bad is the Ruger Mark III to field strip??

If you follow the directions the first few times it will become second nature. I sold my mk3 a couple years ago but I could field strip one today if it were in front if me. There is really just one step towards the end of reassembly that is kinda odd.
