Somehow I am in the position to buy a couple Remington Model 12s, one is an octagon barrel and the other isn't. Of the two the Octagon is in better shape. I know prices are all over so I'm really asking for info and a general price guide. I'll upload better pics later.

Started loading for the 222 Remington and noticed the Lyman 48 lists a max charge of 26.2 of H335 while the hodgdon site lists a max of 24 with roughly the same pressure. Seems like 2.2 grains is a big difference, is my manual outdated?

I'm reloading for a Marlin 336 in 35 rem, wondering why the cartridge can't be pushed to 42000 psi. The 30-30 is rated for this pressure and that case can't be much stronger than the 35. Has anyone worked up any loads with pressure equipment?

I finally got around to checking out my herters 30 -30 die set. Just resized a case and the neck is way to big! Pulled the die apart and the expander button measures .319. Is there a wildcat round like this? Can I just turn down this expander? Can I get parts for these dies? Sorry for all...
