A local customer got a great deal on a Model 1851 GU (Uberti) made in 1960. It's in about as unfired condition as it could be. Thought some folks would like to take a peek at "the beginnings".
The serial number is "E63" . . .
with E50 as "build" nos.
The rifling is shallow but with a...

Got a report from a customer with the latest DEM. He said he shot a 1 1/2" group at 25 meters using 28gr of trip7, dry wad and his cast .454" rb. First time out with it. He is going to shoot some 100 yard targets with a skeletonized stock attached.
Here's some pics:

These converted '60 Armys were built by Kenny Howell using ASM revolvers as a base. They are chambered in 44 Colt and have 5" barrels, no ejector rod and the loading lever/ plunger hole was filled and blended. The finish isn't a high polish but the bluing is very nice and even. I'm not sure...
These pictures were taken on different days at different times . . . therefore, the question isn't about the pictures themselves but rather the Dragoons in the pictures. What's different about the Dragoons from one pic to the other?
Mike
I had a couple of "Man with No Name" revolvers through the shop lately and thought hmmmmmmmmm . . .
Figured my "skeleton" '60 Army/ Navy might make a nice 45C "MWNN" when in "Navy" form.
What do y'all think?
Mike
I have the pleasure to announce the latest offering from Kirst Konversions. The first ever 45acp for an open top revolver!! Here is a pic of the first revolver to fire the 45acp!! A Cimarron sourced Uberti with a silver plated trigger guard. I call it "Beauty and the Beast"!
Mike
Thought I'd let y'all know the "latest" (and best !!!) buyers guide is out.
This one is different because if you look smack in the middle of it, you'll see the 6 page article Denis Prisbrey wrote about " yours truly "!!

I was wondering what mods (if any) most folks do or get done to their Open Top revolvers (including cartridge O.T.'s). I go through mine as soon as I get them (before shooting) to "fix" what the factory did or didn't do. Keep in mind, I am not complaining. I think the Italians do a great job...
