Just bought a Beretta 85 today, single stack 380. Fits my hand nicely. Seems to be in good condition, smooth DA pull. One question though, there is a notch in the mag well and grip that I can’t figure out what it’s for. It’s not broken because the notch itself is blued and smooth. I’m guessing...

Couple of knives I picked up at the antique mall today. Buck 110 50th Anniversary, perfect shape, factory sharp. Unfortunately it came with a nylon sheath, not leather. But, it was less than a new 110 at Walmart. The other one is an old handmade knife, I’m guessing from a file. Wood handle...

Had my 1955 Russian SKS out earlier, bolt back. Went to release bolt, pushed down on bolt stop and caught my index finger in the action. Two small cuts on my finger. It hurt. (I could swear I heard a laugh). Here’s a pic of the offender:

Stopped in a small gun shop this morning and had to buy this. It’s a smoothbore, marked Carson 20 Gauge, 00015. 42” octagon to round browned barrel, flintlock. Small rear sight with a bead front. Haven’t pulled the barrel yet to check for any other markings. The lock sparks very well.

Late October I ordered 3 CZ 83 mags from Galati International, fairly expensive, but couldn’t find them anywhere. Received one today, the other two are still back ordered, and will be shipped when and if Galati gets any more. I’m just happy to get one.

Bought this today, never had one before, but have read about them. It’s very light, good condition, hopefully will shoot well. I already reload 44 special for my Ruger, so it will fit right in.

I ordered a Cz 83 in 32 from Aim Surplus today. They have about a hundred in stock as of this morning. Couldn’t resist after buying a Beretta 81 in 32 also earlier this year, and really liking it. Mags are a bit expensive though, I had to order them from CZ USA, at $44 each. Greg Cote was sold out.

Found this in a gunshop today, paid $10 a box. I opened one, and it’s head stamped LC 72. Should be good ammo.

Saw where Ruger was finally making a 357 SP101 in blue. Found a gunshop that had one in stock, and bought it today. Hopefully will be able to shoot it later this week.

Bought this in a gunshop today, was marked 38 special, but it isn’t. A 38 cartridge only goes about 1/2 in cylinder, and is just a bit loose. I’m guessing it’s a S&W 38 caliber. No caliber or model markings on frame. Serial is 699306. Frame is a little larger than my 31-1. Has a very smooth...

Just showing off my new to me PTR 91. Surplus stock and trigger group. It is actually the older GI model without the paddle mag release. Just picked it up couple of days ago, hopefully shoots well! It came with 7 aluminum mags, and 2 Cetme mags. I ordered 15 aluminum mags @ $5 each.
