I bought my Mark ll in the early 80's but never shot it that much. Retired and shooting more now and that mag button gets hard on my wimpy thumb. I have Uplula's for my 1911's but have not clue on where to start to find a good mag loader for the Mark ll.
This came in the mail today. Although I don't have a lot of brass available to prime right now (caught up) I found a couple of cases to play with. Machining and fit on this tool is excellent. Ginex LR primers don't have a chance against a T7 with this die. Seating effort is effortless and smooth...
Went from this:
To this I got today:
Giant Creedmore label aside and the price it's well worth the money. Heavy duty enough that it doesn't need clamping to a table.
I have never annealed and just ordered my first annealer. The annealer has a timer for the the length time heat is applied to each case. How do I determine the length of time. Do I need to order temp sticks?
Every now and then I will run across reloading information talking about metric primers. I am trying to figure out if there is any difference between metric and standard primers.
I have been looking at them for help with reloading and polishing. Not for chasing threads, turning tapers or anything that sophisticated. Under $200.00. And understand very well that may not be possible.
Kitchen knives needed touched up. I never realize how dull they are until I use them the first time after sharpening. They are VG-10 and hold an edge for a while.
I have had a Sheridan Blue Streak for decades. Tack driver for sure in it's time. It is old enough now that it won't hold pressure when pumped. Are there rebuild kits available for it?
A few years ago I bought a couple of yards of cotton lint free clothe from an online fabric store for gun cleaning that I really liked. About out now. Like a dummy I don't remember the source. Any suggestions would be welcome.
While looking around for something else I came across these 22 LR LR shells with a Poly coated bullet. Has anyone tried these? Are they worthwhile?

I have large hands and the OEM grips (top photo) were simply too small. Gun flopped around in my hands. Got some new grips (bottom photo) from Altamount today and these fit my hands much better. Feels like a different gun altogether. Hopefully this weather breaks soon and I can try them out.
May late father-in-law gave me this pistol decades ago and I have kept it stored. Being retired now I want bring it out of storage and start shooting it. It needs a good cleaning. I am having a hard time finding any information on disassembly for cleaning and am looking for any books or links...
I have two reloading stations. One is a 600 pound bench with my Dillon 550 on it and the other, for my precision rifle reloading. is a heavy wooden desk. For decades I have used a beam scale on a desk hunkering down to get eye level with the scale pointer. Tried web cams and IPhone magnifiers...
I like balance beam scales. To be more specific I like RCBS 10-10 scales. There is a gentleman in the reloading circles that will tune a RCBS 10-10 balance beam to read within (1) kernel of powder for a fee. He will not tune a 10-10 that's not made in the USA. I sent him photos of my 10-10 and...
I have been reloading for 50+ years, moved (4) times, and never really organized my stuff. Basically worked out of boxes more or less all these years. Lot of stuff. And yes I do have (2) of some things. So I retired this spring and one of my goals was to have an organized reloading area. I...
Not a huge knife fan but do appreciate good knives. My dream knife would be a Bob Loveless. Looking at the prices it wouldn't be hard to understand. Decades ago I could have bought one for about $400. 00 but $400.00 was a lot of money back then. It would have been cheaper than the 2.5K they are...
Just a small rant. FedEx requires a signature for powder and/or primers whereas UPS does not. I got burned on this once. Waited for FedEx on the promised delivery date and at the last minute they postponed delivery until the next day. So I waited by the front door the second day and while...
