I'm an HK fan & have read the recent article on the new HK 45 in a handgun mag. The article stated that the HK 45 has been patterned after the 1911. If so, why buy the copy & not the real thing? Has HK perfected the 1911 with the HK 45?

Need a recommendation for a good set of range muffs, the electronic kind so I can hear range commands. Ideally, they should seal well around the eye protection. I'm considering the Peltor Tactical 6S.

Anyone use an under the belt holster? They are the holsters that are owb but worn under the belt. Which are the good ones? IMHO, belt/paddle holsters for the range are not stable enough.

Wifey can't rack any of the slides on my semi-autos. She doesn't like revolvers. I can't blame her for that.:D What gun has a slide a person with weak hands can rack? I keep all of my guns are in ready-to-shoot condition. Yet, there must be a gun for her to manipulate as needed.

I've got a Kahr PM9 & it's painful to shoot a few hundred rounds of the stuff. In a little gun like the PM9, does +p make sense for sd? I can control standard ammo much better with the gun. The +p ammo really didn't impress me with accuracy(I used a high quality round). Does +p make that...
