UPDATE:
I finally had a chance to send the display unit to Ryan last week. I received a replacement unit yesterday (10/19), not bad considering they received the unit I sent on Thursday (10/13). After turning the new display on and verifying I can read it, I did notice they didn't return the...
Haha! Maybe I should have tried some different batteries, display probably would have changed over to Chinese though. +1 on the static electricity. Funny thing is, Ryan said they only make an English version! Just my luck, I get the one that has an identity crisis.
Talked to Ryan at Magnetospeed, apparently I am the first person to have this issue! After sending him some pics of the display he talked to his engineers and they want me to send the display in to be reprogrammed. I will update thread when I have more info.
Thanks for the reply. I have a hard copy of the manual and I've looked at the online version, there is nothing in either that talks about resetting the language.
I was recently given a V1 by a friend who picked up a V3. I picked up some batteries and when I turned it on tonight the language is in Spanish. How do I change it to English? I've checked the manual and their website but neither list anything about this. My friend is currently unavailable...
^ This is what I did. I was the same way I didn't have anyone local that could show me. I can read something all day long and not get it but if you show me once I'm set. Get the book to get a basic understanding and guide, use the forums for questions and YouTube to verify how to do it.
If you...

If you plan on reloading I would strongly recommend you hang on to your...
I haven't reloaded .308 in a while and am needing to pick up some supplies. I know each gun is different and I'll have to find what works for my gun, I'm just trying to establish a starting point. I had a few questions about the 168gr vs 175/178gr and also about Varget vs IMR 4064.
I have...
Criterion makes really good pre-fit barrels at a good price. You can order through Jim Briggs of Northland Shooters Supply (763) 682-4296. Jim is also a wealth of info. when it comes to re barreling a Savage.
Take a look at the top under the Remington Express ammo and it list the Core Lokts as the bullet used. I assume that is what you shooting, the cheaper green and yellow express ammo. If not maybe a picture or link to what you are shooting might help.
I recently placed my first order through the CMP. I have received notice of payment and a customer#. I recently came into some more money and would like to purchase another rifle. My question is, is there a way to add to my existing order or will I just need to place a separate order?
I've had really good results with this. I use a cap full of Simple Green and that works pretty good. After tumbling, rinse, towel off, and let air dry.
