i got some bullets that appear to be steel jacketed with copper coating. is it safe to shoot through my gun? would it cause excessive wear?

I got some cheap pulled 30 cal bullets. they come with some pulled marks which is ok with me as i am just using them to blast. how would I know they are safe to shoo though? Do i need to run them through some die to make sure?
