Anyone know if Colt is still manufacturing and delivering this model to distributors? I ordered 2 in August, and finally called the dealer to ask about it, and they said I should call Colt to find out (really? :fire:). I know they were accepting orders until November 30, but I actually expected...
Wow, that's strange. I'm interested in seeing what ATI has to say about this malfunction too. I haven't been able to shoot mine very often. How many rounds have you put through it?
Years ago, saw a Auto Ordnance 1927 Thompson (pre-Kahr) Deluxe on the used rack for $550. Really wanted one but decided to think about it for a day. Well, guess who still doesn't have a Thompson now...
If it's really that good of a deal, I figure I'll buy it and flip it if I decide I don't...
Arcus 94. Nothing wrong with it, but I bought it thinking it would be my hi-power fill in, but I never liked it quite as much as I thought I would. I still think about buying it back since the guy I sold it to still has not shot it.
Springfield 1911 Mil Spec. Bought it super cheap, traded it...
Ah ha! Found it! http://www.elitedealseeker.com/

I used to visit the page every now and again. The site aggregated all firearm sales from different forums for viewing on a single page. It also did the same for watches and some other items. I can't find the bookmark and searching on here and on Google has not allowed me to find it again...
It's funny how comments about the pistol are relatively good now. When I bought it, it was generally considered below average and junk. I always waited for my CD to break but it never has. I remember being really disheartened by a poll back in 2004:
Great buy, good pistols 7 12.96%
Waste of...
I have a friend who works for 911... it makes me worry about the human race due to the number of times they hear "Why can't you do it like in CSI? They did this and that and this blah blah..."
Funny, I just dug my 916 out of the safe to take a look at it. I was considering adding a modern pump shotgun to the collection but the 916 has worked okay for the few times I have used it. I think I have had the jam RtWngGunut mentioned though. I was thinking I might sell this if I bought...
I like my Bulgarian Makarov. I always thought I would get another but the prices are now three times what I paid so I just enjoy my one now. It's a fun gun and accurate.
I don't know what you're talking about, $2 is a deal for parking!
The last show I went to, parking was free but admission was $16. The previous show, parking was $6 and admission was $14 I think. Or you could park across the street at the restaurant and stuff for $3, or find a random...
The lease I have paid is $10, that was great. His business was his home though. Now, it's usually $20. One place wanted to charge $25 plus 10% of whatever I was paying for the gun as a processing fee.
Bounced between a conversion kit and this. It was cheap enough at JG to take a chance. Shot about 250 rounds through it, some Stingers and Bulk Federal. No issues with it. Is it truly a Glock clone? No, and I didn't buy it expecting it to be one. The trigger feels different and the grip is...
I wish it was a little less expensive then it could join the safe because it was odd and it was an easy impulse buy. I was always intrigued by the Mateba and was happy to see Chiappa bring it back.
I picked up the last two boxes of CCI Stingers yesterday from Wal Mart. Put the brass bore brush in the drill and cleaned the chamber out too. Looks better. If I can get it to work then I'll order mags from Midway.
The page for the Ciener conversion, that this one seems to be based on, lists separate items for Full Size, Commander, and Office size guns. Maybe they are different barrel lengths to match the gun? Not sure if this one would fit properly.
Took this conversion out this morning. Failure to feed...
