Has anyone had to send in a new firearm back to CMMG to work on? I was just wondering about the usual turn around time. I know times are crazy now but I was just looking for some more seasoned members’ experiences.
yes they are. les baer ones are as well.
what's the point of bitching about it though? just don't buy one. there are plenty of fairly priced ones out there.
someone who is defending taurus has no room to bash 1911's. if you can't shoot a 1911 well, you're just not a good marksman. i don't have one anymore, but a well made 1911 is one of the most wonderfully balanced pistols in the world. and a 1911 with a quality trigger is a thing of beauty.
"No, it was a 1911, ergo piece of crap. I got rid of two, a AO and an AMT, and never tried it again. Actually, one got stolen and the insurance bought me a Ruger P90. I was and am happy, now."
So much fail in this comment I don't even know where to begin.
i had a pt1911. that thing was a straight up piece of crap. i bought it before i knew better. stovepipes, rounds not feeding, barrel nut was hard as hell to rotate. finish would scratch if you drop a feather on it. save up an extra $150 and get a nice pistol. i have no experience with any of...
yeah, you're right. that's why 1911's never have ND. EVAAAAAR.
if you don't like glocks for whatever reason, fine. don't try to tell me they're unsafe because they go off when the trigger is pulled. and safeties wouldn't stop NDs. if a person is untrained enough to have an...
this happened to me while i was chopping onions about 3 hours ago and not really paying attention. i just jumped back and let my beautiful $180 shun santoku hit the ground :(.
better than trying to catch it though cuz it was razor sharp. but if i did and it cut me i would never trust shun...
"steel will snap extractors"
I'm just playing devil's advocate but even if you snap an extractor every 1000 rds you'd be saving enough to buy 3 new bravo co bolts for every thousand rds anyways so it's a non issue. And if you figure that an extractor cost less than ten bucks you'd have enough...
I don't love em, but there is little to hate about them. Cheap rifle cheap ammo big boom. I understand the appeal. Just not for me.
There are better guns to hate on ;)
Go with larue, American defense or bobro. Don't cheap out on the mount. Definitely don't sully your rifle with $20 made in china rings. If you dont need QR larue has a cheaper option. Fir the love of god do NOT get UTG. I wouldn't even want that stuff on an airsoft gun
holy guacamole! $21 dollars for a box of 20 steel cased? they were smoking something green when they came up with that pricing. does that come with a steak or something?
