Union workers - Guns & Voting

Im a union member. Good pay and benefits but Im still not pro-union. I work with approx 130 people. 115 of them are the exact reason people hate unions. The remaining 15 of us are the only 2A supporters. Its very interesting how often one's stance on guns can give you an almost complete look...

When to carry, and when not to carry

Yes I know it happened in Germany. But it has happened. Less than 2 months ago actually. http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,,6020400,00.html And to be part of the discussion. I always carry. Unless its illegal where I am going. As previously stated I would hate to reach for my gun...

    Gander Mountain Used guns

I have heard that they will negotiate. Our local gander mountain normally has a few used rifles. But most of the time they are a little high. But they are always gone the next time I check in. So maybe they negotiate alot. Josh

"I don't like Hoppes #9" and other unpopular cleaning opinions.

Im not judging what you do. But using brake cleaner on your guns as used on any metal surface, it takes away the oil. Making rust an issue. I personally would think using brake cleaner then oil would be very bad for the gun. Just because brake cleaner gets in all sorts of areas that oil might...

    building a backstop

Ill check into the tires. You can get them free around here. Atleast they would make good fill for the dirt. The pile is going to be pretty close to a big ditch. Drainige is already going to be a problem. So digging out in front might not work. But I will keep it in mind. I think I will have the...

Kids (legal!) solo hunting leads to woman shot in the head!

Within a few posts you guys made me finish my thoughts. Some kids may be ready to go hunting at 7 or 8. And maybe a lot safer than some old timers. So maybe there shouldnt be an age at all. Mabe there should be a mandatory hunting class with skills testing. Mayeb there is. Its no longer shocking...

Kids (legal!) solo hunting leads to woman shot in the head!

:what: I had no idea there were places where you could hunt at that early of an age by yourself. No clue. Its a very sad situation. A kid of any should be able to go shooting. Rifles or handguns. Its a parents choice based on their childs maturity. Noone knows their child better or atleast...

    Good kimber for carry.

THANK YOU!! You guys are great. So much information! It really helps getting first hand information. I really just need to decide between the ultra carry and the pro carry. Hmmmmm...... Decisions Decisions :p

    Good kimber for carry.

I have a little bit of time to decide. I like the compact size of the ultra and have heard lots of good things. But the people that have problems with them really seem to have problems. I guess it will be a toss up no matter what. You guys are great!!
