Do You Have an Excellent Handgun that was Inexpensive?

I got a Bresa 380 from a friend for $100. I still have it. It's an excellent shooter and reliable as a rotweiller. Another friend gave me a new set of fingergroove grips for it. Made it even better!

    Ugliest pistol ever!

To me the ugliest are the Bersa Super Commanche, and the Enfield revolver. At lest the Commanche has functionality within it's design. I borrowed the photo from a gunbroker ad.

    Pastors and Concealed Carry

My pastor carries, and numerous members of the church carry as well. I normally don't but have been asked too on occasion. Even small churches can handle a great deal of money on any given Sunday. Protecting the people is foremost, but protecting the assests is to be considered as well. If...

    Favorite ambi AR-15 safety?

I have a Stag LH /ambi safety for my Seekins 300 BLK AR15. I bought a Stag Left Handed AR15 for my regular sporting use. It has an Ambi safety on it.

Received a reverse 911 message on my phone, and an e-mail today. BOMB Threat!

I'm thinking it was the neighbor's 4 year old little boy playing with his toys, and he put it in the mailbox without giving it any thought. It was directly across the street from my house and that's where he plays quite a bit. I'm just thankful that nobody was hurt, and that the police...

Received a reverse 911 message on my phone, and an e-mail today. BOMB Threat!

Latest update is that the Robot had opened the mailbox and was looking at whatever is in there. Discovered it was a toy grenade. All is good again! http://www.khq.com/story/25262798/update-spirit-lake-suspicious-device-only-a-toy-grenade

Received a reverse 911 message on my phone, and an e-mail today. BOMB Threat!

How would you feel receiving this e-mail message? This was absolutely legit. I just received a call on my cell phone, and an e-mail message here at work indicating there was a "suspicious device" found in my neighborhood. I called my wife Corlinda right away, and she was told by the...

What is the last gun that you bought?

There are actually 3. A TISAS 1911, a Glock 29 in 10MM and a Sig 1911-22. I've shot them all with no malfunctions or issues. the Tisas was NIB and really tight. I'm going to shoot a few hundred rounds thru it to see how it improves. I'm going to paint the sights right now, they're black on...

    Auction Sites

Gunbroker has captured the market for the most part. It's one of the few places I go to deal in guns with people outside of my area. Gunauction.com is fine for the harder to find collectibles, but they're not mainstream any more. I pretty much lost interest in the site a couple years ago.

    .44 mag or .45 LC

I would carry the 44 magnum for the best protection you have at your disposal. But shooting them isn't a good idea from my perspective. First off you need to call animal control, and have them caught and relocated. These bears are losing their natural respect for humans and need to be moved...

The most stunning pair of 1911 grips I've ever seen

Very nice. Of the two I like the Box Elder better. A little less "Flash", and lots of personality. Either way they're both beautiful.

My first Glock pistol G29 SWEET!!

What is it, and where do I find it?

My first Glock pistol G29 SWEET!!

This is my very first Glock pistol. I've avoided them for years because they never fit me well, and I'm a S&W guy at heart. This pistol is compact in length and height, but certainly not width. It's a double stack 10mm magazine holding 10 rounds. I've never before found any Glock pistol that...

What is the last gun that you bought?

I just bought 2 Hi-point carbines, one in 40 S&W and the toher in 45 ACP. I also bought an EASA Bounty Hunter revolver in 22lr/22mag, and a S&W model 39 to complete a collection. I pick all 4 of them up at the same time from my dealer, so all of them are the last gun I bought. I recently...

I'm familiar with cross merchandising but this is a new one.

Sportsmans Guide almost always has the 1 hour Enery Drinks in each shipment. I can't stand the taste of the stuff, but I probably have a dozen of the sample bottles by now. If I'm ever pulling an all-nighter, I know how I'll be staying awake.

Old top break looking for info on the maker

I originally thought it might be an Eibar, but the hammer is wrong. A couple of others mentioned Belgium knock-offs, an it makes sense. It looks to be a well made pistol. If any new info comes to light I'll pass it on. ~Gregory~

    What hand cannon?

The STI Perfect 10 is the sweetest handgun on the market. Not quite as cool as a Bren Ten, but one of the finest handguns made to date. It's built on a much larger 2011 frame and it's amazing to handle. That's what I would like Santa to bring me this year

Old top break looking for info on the maker

This is hopefully going to be pretty easy. I'm pulling this from another forum trying to help a member there identify the maker. It was his grandfathers and he's just curious. All I'm looking for, is if somebody can identify the maker of this top break revolver. It's in 38 S&W. That's...

Anyone with experience recessing a safe?

The only thought I have on this would be that you want to bolt the safe into any solid structure you can. Bolt it into the floor, and at least one side or back stud. The more anchor points, the better. If you can take some time and build a custom studded structure so the safe can be bolted in...

Walmart Sporting Goods Manager Denies Computer Reports

Walmart here in Hayden/Coeur d'Alene, Idaho has centerfire pistol ammo.. Plenty of .380 and 45 ACP. the was around 20 boxes of 38, and 10 of 45 Long Colt and there was some 40 S&W. I needed the 40, so I bought 2 boxes and left 8 WWB on the shelves for the next guy. I bought the WWB for...
