grip

Hello! I put together a 762 AR. I am about to put a foregrip on but I also like to shoot holding right where the barrel touches the lower receiver, not quite touching the magazine. However, there are a couple of bolts right where I place my hand and it can be uncomfortable when I hold it there...

I've seen several very nice wood grips online...but they're a little TOO nice. I'm looking for some rubber grips like the old Pachmayr wrap-around grips, but those ones are discontinued. There's also the whole Hague "sleeves", but that might change the grip-feel of the unimaginably comfortable...

I had 2 of these in the past and sold them. It took me forever to find these again. I just found them at the Knob Creek machine gun shoot yesterday. They weren't in a package and the guy didnt know who made them. Anybody?
