Looking for any information on an Iver Johnson 20 ga, s/n 38054E. When and where it was made and any other IJ information?
I believe it was brought by a family member from Indian Territory (Oklahoma) to Texas between 1904 and 1906. Thank you.
Sorting thru some firearms for the widow of a friend and just can’t nail this one down.
Looks like an IJ right? But what model/year? And no IJ marks on gun (other than grips)?
Help would be appreciated.
No markings on top strap.
A 4 digit SN preceded by an A.
Hello, I just signed up and first post.
I am trying to learn the Manufacture Year of an Iver Johnson 22 Supershot Sealed Eight.
Serial # on Trigger Guard 9631 + one Under Walnut Grip on Frame # L9631.
I bought it in the 1980's, actually traded it for some custom picture framing from my shop...
I have a .38S&W Lovell Iver Johnson .38S&W top break revolver.
Antique firearm, in excellent shape, except for one catch..well rather latch...
It is missing the button/latch to hold the topbreak shut.
It appears to be a more elusive revolver than most other topbreaks.
Parts seem...

I'm sure someone here could help me with this Iver Johnson in 38.
I've made some research on the web about this gun, but no one seem to have the same stamps than mine, so i need help to identify it.
I just bought an (formerly blued) Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle works .38 S&W with a 5" barrel. The owl is looking at the trigger. Under the grips are what I believe "I 644xx" serial numbers with a solid mainspring (see picture). It's a duel post Top Break (see picture) and I believe a second...
I have an Iver Johnson top break 38 S&W ser no C 99442 coil spring pat pending nov. 17, 1908. I am wondering when it was made and is smokeless and any other info available. It is in incredibly good shape with no pitting what so ever.
I have an Iver Johnson Top-Break .38. It's been in my family for generations. I think it's a .38. It has a 4 digit serial number. The S/N is Q8727 under the handle. The trigger guard shows 8727. Along the top of the barrel it's stamped "Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works Fitchburg Mass USA"...
I inherited an Iver Johnson 32 caliber top break. The only serial number I could find was on the left side under the grip. The serial number is A 906xx. The gun was last fired perhaps 35 years ago and worked fine at that time. I have noticed that the ejector doesn't work much of the time now. It...
I have bought an Iver Johnson recently.
After reading many posts here and abroad I have still not found any like this one.
Any sage advice would be greatly appreciated.
