‘Take Weapons of War Off Our Street’

I thought the focus of the thread was something along the lines of taking weapons of war off our streets. I'm not versed enough in what constitutes a weapon of war as reflected in written law but I do know a variety of conservative voters who would probably vote along the lines of removing those items that the media supposes us to believe weapons of war, from our streets. I'm not absolutely certain how they feel about a handgun in the home. Some wouldn't want me to bring mine when I came to visit; most likely. I would bet that any of them could, if they wished, own a gun. Sir Tim Berners-Lee sparked a universal collaboration in communication and our globe is evolving as we speak. I've seen remarkable change in the past decade, at home and abroad. Little would surprise me. I fear that more change is on its way.

A "weapon of war" is whatever any particular advocate of racially invidious gun controls wants to ban and confiscate at any given instant.

All are weapons of war.
Are they to be banned, as well?
Looking at the precedent of the UK, yes, knives would be banned as well. At least "sharp" ones. Maybe they would allow us to have butter knives.

They can ban many things. But at some point their efforts simply become laughable. Not only are such things unenforceable, but they bring the entire edifice of the law into contempt.

Wait for them to take a case and see if Roberts doesn’t sink it or water it doesn’t water it down. You may quote this or that but why don’t you quote the numerous courts that used Heller to support bans. Remember Kavanugh’s prose was in a dissent. Have a reality check.
We do not know how the SCOTUS will rule for sure and hence why we need more pro gun/2A justices on SCOTUS. That will happen if Trump gets re-elected and not if he doesn't get re-elected.

BTW, I did not quote Kavanaugh.
