My T/C Cherokee .32 barrel is due to arrive shortly, unfortunately I haven't found a supply of .310 ball in my area.
I was wondering if anyone here has ever tried #1 Buckshot (.300 dia) and a thick patch or double ply of patches. #0 Buckshot is .320 dia and probably too tight for a patch.
Granted, they might not be quite as accurate, but it is certainly cheaper than boxes of Swaged .310's, especially if I buy a 25 lb bag of them. Then again, who knows.....
Any ideas?
