I've been waiting for this event for almost a month now in anticipation of cutting down the cost of a new rifle.
I don't know whether this is presently available at all Cabela's stores, but it is at my local store. Figured I'd point it out to you-all in case anybody else finds interest.
Starting yesterday (April 22) any purchase over $500 using your Cabela's credit card gets you an immediate $100 off your purchase. Only available for about the next seven to ten days (can't remember the exact ending date).
They will also sweeten the deal by giving an additional $15 off if you open a new credit card account as well, which is what I'm doing. Total of $115 off a $500 or greater purchase.
In my case I'll be purchasing a Savage 12BVSS .243 Win rifle that has a normal cost of $640 at Cabela's (ordered from warehouse stock). With the discount it walks out the door for $525 before taxes. Pretty dang sweet deal.
