I have owned an 1100 for 40 years. Great gun. Might want to shoot a modified choke. Most specifics for use are tailored to your own preferences.
Remember you cannot buy the ability. Its 95% shooter 5% shotgun. An expensive shotgun will not suddenly make you a great shooter but does give you bragging rights on a nice shotgun.
