I shoot a lot of 22lr and came across this website for a 12 shot revolver in 22lr. I was actually looking for a 22 magnum revolver for the wife and now I am interested in this gun for myself. Anyone out here have any information good and bad about this gun. Here is the link to the website:

The company is a reputable one. The idea is a good one. The price is a bummer. Still, I'd love to have one in the 4.75" barrel. I would expect this to be a fairly heavy revolver, maybe as much as 42 oz. and heavier with the longer barrels. I'd check on that.

Second concern would be whether the gun shoots to the point of aim. I ordered a full size .22 SA several years ago, and I shaved the front sight until there is scarcely anything left and it still shoots low. I bought it to learn to shoot from the hip. It served that purpose very well and the sights didn't matter. But I wouldn't want to deal with that with a near $1000 revolver. If you buy one, be sure to give us a good range report.

Thanks for the reply. You bring up some interesting questions which I will look in to. I am still undecided on the barrel length, but I like the way it looks on the display which I beleive is the 5 1/2 inch barrel. I am have way there in saving for it, the holidays just took a bigger chunk than I expected. I will follow up with a range report when I get there.

I acquired a USFA 12/22 a couple of months ago and have a few hundred rounds through it, mostly at our 50 foot indoor range. Shooting off hand it will keep shots within a few inch circle and shoots to point of aim. Lots of fun to keep shooting when the 10 round boys are done. Nicely made and finished as well. Only downside is it takes a little longer to load and to eject empties.

Interesting gun, although a bit pricey! I like the way they kept to 6 cylinder flutes.

BTW, the model shown is the 7-1/2" barrel.

Have a 4 3/4 barrel here. Extremely well built, shoots point of aim, accurate.
Don't go by the suggested list price.
If you want a cheap plinker, this isn't it. If you want a very high quality .22 revolver with great capacity, it is.

It's good to know that it shoots to point of aim. Acutally now I saw the 4 1/2 inch barrell in another website and liked it too. Heck if I win the lottery I am getting all three size barrels. Thanks the info guys. Like I said I am half way there in the savings. Can't wait.

I, too, am very intrigued by the 12/22. I am a bit nervous about investing in such a pricey revolver with fixed sights. Are there any other satisfied owners out there? I am really curious...

Merry Christmas, and thank you,

gd

Not of the 12/22 but I do have one of the USFA revolvers in 45LC/45ACP - sights are well regulated and the quality/workmanship of the pistol and the company are great.
