I picked up some 155 grain 45 ACP collar button bullets from Matt’s Bullets and want to shoot them out of my single shot .45 acp rifle.

I was thinking about either 3 grains of Bullseye or 3.5 grains of Unique. Does this sound reasonable? I will be looking down the bore after each shot to make sure the bullet cleared the barrel.

I will be shooting them in my TC encore rifle with an 18” barrel and a Silencerco Octane 45.

Thanks,

Dan

I shoot 200 LSWC's at 4.0 to 4.2 grs Bulleye and they are stable in a 5 inch barrel at 50 yards. Those shooting 185's are using 4.2 grains Bullseye.

Push bullets too slow and it is likely they will tumble downrange before they hit the target. Your suggested loads are too low in my opinion, for that reason.
