Hi Tuner, I've enjoyed and benefited from your posts here and on other forums for some time, thanks for all your experience and insight. So, let's say I were to order some magazines from Metalform for my Springfield G.I., what exactly should I ask for? 7-rounders with dimpled flat followers, for sure. Do I want (and need to specify) the Wolff spring upgrade? Are there multiple spring weights available, and if so, which is best? For the tube, does carbon vs. stainless matter for any reasons other than the obvious one of corrosion resistance? And finally, what sort of baseplate do I want - fixed, welded, etc.? My only concern is maximizing reliability. Thanks for any reply!
