and here is something you don't see everyday. A S&W 1013. It started with a 4013 and then has a BadManOne, from the S&W forum, conversion to make it a 10mm. Sitting next to a G29 with a ColdBore Customs grip reduction.
I don't have much experience with S&W 10** and I've only owned Glocks in less powerful calibers, so here's something from 1911 point of view.
I absolutely love my Colt Delta Gold Cup, but lately I've been avoiding shooting it too much. There's nothing wrong with the gun, it's been fed full power 10mm loads all its life, but I finally admitted that it's very collectible and still in way too good shape to be shot on a weekly basis.
Solution? I bought a Para 16-40 Limited a few months ago, hand-fitted the slide and I'm currently looking for a dedicated 10mm barrel for it. I could ream out the .40 barrel to 10mm (15 minute job with a reamer) but I rather keep it as it is for cheap .40 practise. In addition to that, the gun only needs a 22lb or so recoil spring and it's all set. OEM Magazines can accommodate 10mm length rounds without problems.
16 rounds of full house 10mm is a lot of firepower.
