im not impresssd by anything in this batch. im amazed walther could beat the ppx in even more ugly with this creed. the remington rp9 is like a really bad ruger, maybe im getting too old and im out of touch.

if this has been posted i missed finding it in the search engine or if its too random and off topic too much, i apologize to the mods.

The new Witness looks interesting, the Wesley and Legacy rifles aren't bad, a long slide 10 mm 1911 for hunting is pretty cool. Looks like some interesting mew options to me, of course I'm a glass half full kind of guy.

Nothing in there for me, but there's always another trade show just around the corner.

If they would produce a Canik TP9 variation in the size of a G26 I'd buy it tomorrow.

That SF looks more like G19 size, which does nothing for me.

The bond arms guns could be a fun novelty but it will be a long time before I run out of guns I find more interesting.

The new one most interesting to me though is the Remington 10mm long slide hunter. I like powerful, practical pistols and have the revolvers I want covered. It's nearly time for a powerful semi auto and this might be it. I think I read that Remington (or parent co) bought out para, and slapped their badge on the para hunter.

None of it is terribly compelling.

A .410 AR-15? I had to double check the date to make sure it was a recent article. The cheap plastic receiver only makes it less desirable.

The Road Agent shotgun is weird. I guess a self cocking mule-ear makes sense for the cowboy crowd, but a thumb safety and decocker is only too modern.

The Avidity Arms PD10 is an interesting synthesis of modern trends. I wonder what their price point is going to be, if it ever makes it to market.

Bond Arms derringers aren't even interesting. Derringers have been obsolete for a hundred years, at least. That's amazing, really.

That Howdah is gorgeous. .410 pistols are silly, but this one has class!

I want Remington to do well, but their bean counters are ruining the company. I hope they learned something from the R51 debacle so the RP series isn't a disaster.

Most of the rest are incremental changes.

I understand if Walther has to cut machining on the PPX slide to keep it competitively priced, but I can't own one if it says "CREED" on the side. One of my least favorite bands, ever. Yuck.

It's curious that Savage is releasing a new .22 LR. I wonder if they know something we don't know.

BERETTA- WHERE IS THE APX!!?!?!?!

It's a novelty, but that .45/410 Howdah has Panache'!!! A handsome arm, If it was cheap enough I'd love to have one to play with.

Agreed, early release is to get some traction before the really good stuff is released 60 days from now. Or, at least it always seems to be really good stuff until a week later when all the hype evaporates and we are left wondering once again, when will Glock release a single stack 9mm.

Oh wait - and we did - they did. Ok, next up is the Bren 10.

Me, I'd be happy with LED night sights to fit the standard dovetails for larger pistols.

I like most of the handguns. The new Walther Creed doesn't look any better or worse than the PPX IMHO, which isn't THAT bad. It might slightly resemble a Hi Point in some ways but to me it's like a pretty sister and an ugly one. You can tell they're related but still the things that went right on one just didn't on the other :).

Remington's RP9 and the Avidity Arms PD10 both look interesting too. The derringers and tactical rifles don't hold much interest for me, but that's just personal preference. While an AK pattern rifle is on my wishlist "just because" aside from that I'm usually only interested in semi-auto handguns and bolt action hunting rifles.

The Howdah 45/410 is SO CLOSE to what I've been hoping would come out since the Judge and the like became popular. I've been wanting a traditional sawed-off 'Lupara' style .45/.410 (non-NFA) for ages just for the cool factor. I get that they went after the old Ithaca Auto-Burgular with the stock design, but if this had a more traditional birdshead style grip, I'd be all over it like white on rice. Here's hoping they come out with that option in the future.

That's about all that interests me; I like the a1 carbine, but I just finished an xm177 build earlier this year.

The Pedersoli Howdah looks awesome!

The Remington 10mm is already out. We looked at one in a shop in Texas last month. VERY impressive, although I wish it were blued carbon steel instead of blackened stainless. Also don't particularly need a rail for that application either. Great gun for under $1100 though.

fair points. i cant stand those walthers but then again i dont think glocks are ugly at all...and so many do. meanwhile i dont think the 92 is real pretty, but so many do.

we can all agree hi points are real ugly and clunky and clumsy looking and 1911s and hi powers are gorgeous, right.;)

I think that the gun manufacturers were waiting for the outcome of the election, before going into production on new models. Only because of the start up costs associated with setting up a new line.
