I've wanted a 22 pistol for a bit now. Before today I knew of the Ruger MK2/3, Browning Buckmark and Sig Mosquito.
I noticed at the gun show today there is a Beretta 22 (don't recall price) similar to the Buckmark, a Smith and Wesson A22 (I think $275 show) and a Chiappa 1911-22 ($220 show) which all caught my eye and were inexpensive.
I've fired the Sig and the Ruger MK2 and 3 and read many reviews online. The reviews I trust the most have 2 attributes:
1. They are negative. (all the positive people might be paid)
2. They explain why. (I don't like Glock, HK, etc isn't a good enough reason for me)
Sorry to focus on the negative. Usually I don't just do this, I look at percentage of negative to positive and think about that also.
Has anyone used either the Chiappa, Beretta or Smith and Wesson A22 and have a reason why you wouldn't buy it?
