223-crimp or no crimp?

I have tested a variety of loads with crimp and no crimp. In most rifles, I haven't found it to make any difference. To prevent bullets moving under recoil I have to crimp 378 and 460 Weatherby and 458 Lott.

that, as I posted, some loads can benefit from a crimp, but the best loads will not. There are multitudes of shooters proving that, not just one test.

I would be very interested in seeing these crimp vs no crimp tests by this multitude of shooters.

As you say, the proof is out there, do you have test results or links to these tests?

Thanks

Go to accuratereloading.com, then to reloading pages then to the FAQ link at the bottom of the page. There is a discussion about this; the tester found a 10% improvement with crimped ammo.

If crimping improved accuracy, every competitor would do it. They simply don't.
