dav, NOT including those you listed in your original thread, or those that said "I'll take x amount of whichever," we have 164 orders for #2 and 69 for #1 at this point. Overwhelmingly, the preference is blue. Given those numbers, I'd like to propose that all of us #1 voters consider the fact that if we could accept #2 instead, we could order 500 of #2 and 0 of #1, making the price cheaper for everyone. Food for thought.

TennTucker, I thought someone would steal the pink ribbon I got for my wife too, but it has remained on her trunk lid for several months. What mildly concerns me is our midwest winter weather. Salt, ice and water may not be friendly either to keeping it on or keeping it nice.

I'll take (50) of them in which ever one wins. Will this be a long term printing thing or a one time only afair. I may need many many more of these if it is long term.

NoHarm, as of right now it is scheduled as a one time buy. The minimum order is 250, which is the most prohibitive factor. Do you have a gun shop or do you plan on selling them at gun shows? I hope that they somehow "make it big." I don't think many forum members are from central IL, but if I ever see someone with one of these on their car I'll honk and wave like crazy. dav, it looks like we may sell out of these earlier than we thought!
I hope we get enough requests that we can have both design #1 and #2 printed inexpensively. I like them both.
I bet if these ribbons are popular enough that MagnetAmerica.com will sell them themselves as well. They already sell most of the other ribbon designs individually.

I posted a link to the original thread on Glocktalk, S&W Forum, and SIGforum and didn't get much support. Several of these sites have links to the order page and still not much support. I think relying on other forums would be a bad idea, but someone like NoHarmNoFAL may help out quite a bit.
I posted a link on several other forums as well. A couple of people have responded positively. I'm working on getting some local shops to put in a request, as I would like to order more. If we wind up with a surplus I will take a bunch of them. One of my brothers is pro-gun/2nd Amendment and I bet he could move several of them too (lives in Arizona).
Someone sugested to me that I should tell the NRA about the ribbons (I have no idea how to do that). What about GOA and SAF? Do we want to tell those orgs about this?

I can't speak for dav, but I think telling other organizations is a great idea! They are likely to order large quantities, so that should make shipping easier on dav, and they will also hopefully get the magnets to reach farther and to more people.
OK, I just emailed several gun-rights and 2nd-amendment rights sites. Lets see what happens (is this a grass roots adventure?).

I don't have a shop but I peddle my brass at gun shows and I can see this being a huge seller. I was just wanting a smaller amount for starters. I have been looking for something like this for a while.

As you can see, I am a newbie on this forum. Saw it posted on an outdoors best shooting forum. I would be interested in 5 of each style for a total of 10, or if only one style is printed, 10 of that style, all in blue.
