This is actually a LadySmith with aftermarket grips. I bought it used. The previous owner had an action job done on it and it is smooth. These also had a matt finish from the factory. It has been polished. The "LadySmith" logo is still visible on the other side of the frame, but barely so.

This probably hurt resale value, but I got it at a good price and it functions perfectly. DSCF0497.JPG

Have a few revolvers that fit within the OP specifications... :)

And last but not least (?), the NAA Earl with interchangeable .22LR/.22WMR cylinders... The only pic I have of it seems to be in this "family" pic of snub revolvers... The Earl is the one on the bottom right -- it's meant as a reduced-size repro of an 1860 cap-and-ball Remington:

These are some absolutely fantastic examples of 3" revolvers everyone, thanks for sharing them!

For those of you who are curious the .22 shorts I shot out of my Diamondback Sidekick weighed 29 grains and averaged 567 fps velocity. Thus producing a jaw dropping 21 ft/lbs of energy, and an afternoon of plinking fun for the whole family.

Like @Targa, I got one of the sleeper 3-inchers, and it's actually become one of my favorite carry/knockaround revolvers.

I do have a beater Model 13, it's just rough, a dream is to find a 3" Model 13 unfired in the box someday.

Still kicking myself for off-loading a pristine 3" Model 36 during the period in which I was stupidly shedding all my J-frames... (except the Model 63, of course).

Off-topic, but I still love fishing for panfish on a ultralight rig with 4 pound test line. Growing up, yellow perch, bluegills and pumpkinseeds all day long...
My idea of a perfect day, and the way I grew up. Grandpa had an Astra 22 that I believe was 3" in the tackle box. So even though it wasn't mine the fishing gun was a 3". Now I carry a 3" sp101 when down at the river here in town...
