Maybe this should go in the Trading Post, but I want to target you, uh, older guys, that might just have a half dozen .30 Rem pieces of brass tucked away in a drawer that you're never gonna use.
We've got this old Model 81 that we're cleaning up to sell. But, the owner doesn't want to sell it unless we're confident it's a shooter, -fully functional. Feeds, fires, ejects, feeds again, fires. To fully test a repeater it's nice to have a full magazine to experience the Blam, Blam, Blam, effect. Now, it appears that we only have ONE cartridge now that I've ruined the other. Using a .30cal neck sizing die then a 30-30 die to seat/crimp. And.. Not the right shell holder.. The list of challenges go on.
So, this is a plea for assistance. Does anyone have some .30 Remington brass they're willing to part with for a song and a dance? A buck a piece, plus postage?
