So wasn’t sure whether to put this in hand loading or here in autoloaders, chose here because I think this type of loading has the ability to become an underwood or buffalo bore type offering in the future.

Seems like the factory loadings are a bit under powered. What do you all think?

Like the poster in the video, I’ve gotten slightly better velocities with my handloads with the .30Super.
My biggest “ah ha” moment was when Hodgdon published that they used small rifle primers (like with the .327 Federal).
I had hit the wall at 6.1gr of LongShot, at published factory level. About 1,220 from my 3.6”bbl of my Sheild EZ. When I revisited the loads with a SRP, I was able to duplicate Hodgdon’s 1,300+fps loads. (6.6gr of LS).
I’m using a cast NOE 100gr SWC so I’m getting an additional 40-50fps.
Accuracy is outstanding as can be seen in my avatar. 25yd 5-shot groups of 2.5” or less are normal.
Not bad for a .32cal pocket pistol.
I really enjoy mine. And that’s all that matters to me…
