300RUM bullet

I am working on developing a load for my new 300RUM. I have IMR 7828 powder and Winchester large rifle magnum primers. An enough brass to start with, thanks to Nature Boy. Thanks again Nature Boy. I would like to use a 180g bullet and develop a good hunting load. My question is, any ideas on what bullet manufacture and type should I try first? With the high cost of bullets today I’m trying not to buy a box of each.

They are kind of expensive.... but the BC more then makes up for that.

That would be a flat shooting and long distance round.

The 210gr has an even higher BC...
