Odd question but if anyone has some handy will .32 H&R (or similar) brass work with a shell plate / holder for .223? By my measurements it should be close but I don't have any .32 brass on hand. If you go by SAAMI dimensions it barely won't fit but most brass is a few thousandths under these limits in which case it would.
Reason being I load on an old RCBS 4x4 and the shell plates are hard to come by. If this would work then it would open me up to looking at reloading for .32 H&R since I do have a .223 shell plate. My shellplate measures:
.384 rim diameter opening
.053 rim recess depth
.335 base diameter opening
