I am new to this site but love the information on here. I hope I have posted this to the right place. If not would someone please tell me the proper way to make a new post.
My Dad has a Smith & Wesson 32 long Springfield MASS USA Pat'd April 10 1889 March 8 1894 Aug 4 1896 Dec 22 1896 Oct 8 1901 Dec 17 1901 Sept 2 1902 July 1903 on left side of barrell. It has hard black rubber grips. It is blue 41/4" barrel. I know the serials don't come close to the numbers listed on this forum but the number on the bottom of the frame is 68879 and it has 32 long CTG on it. The same number is is inside cartage cylender.
Can anyone tell me when this double action revolver was made and what the value of it is? It is in very good shape.

I think the "G"s are probably "6"s; if so, it is a Model 1903 .32 Hand Ejector, 2nd change. They were made from 1906 to 1909.
