I sure would not use a Ramset construction blank to fire a bullet out of a black powder gun.
Maybe open it, dump the charge, and use it as a primer for a case full of black.

Me neither, but I'm pretty sure the article said they were blanks !

They are technically blanks, containing no projectile of their own. But they generate a lot of punch to drive nails. I would not want to bottle up that punch behind a bullet in an old gun. Ask around, maybe it works and I am just being Internet Timid.
