I won a couple bags of 357 magnum brass at an auction this morning. Upon inspecting, I notice that there are a few nickel plated cases which looks like it has some sort of cannelure on it that say 357 magnum W-W super. Can I use these as I would regular 357 magnum cases?

Yes , you can load and shoot them just like regular brass . I always tried to put all my brass cases in one lot and nickel plated cases in another lot . I like to segregate the brass ones from the nickel plated ones ...
The cannelure on the case was to hold the bullet in place ... hot magnum loads and some target WC loads had cannelures to hold the flush seated WC bullets in place ... I have a few with Two cannelures on the case ...
but don't worry about them , reload and crimp as you normally reload 38 / 357 ammo .

Winchester had a line of ammo they branded as Super-X ... I just bought two 222 round boxes of Winchester , 22 LR , Super-X ammo ... in old fashioned looking "retro" packaged boxes . The box is yellow with a big red X logo ...Winchester still makes ammo branded Super-X .
