Thanks fellers.
Shawnee, there is a Golden 39A in the center of the top picture. It is a .22 and a squirrel/critter killing machine. The old 39A will shoot with most target rifles. They are amazing. I have two 39A's, a pair of model 60's and a Winchester 190. The 39A's are about all that I shoot though.
PTK, I haven't gotten a BC yet but they are on the list. I seen that the 38-55 has been discontinued. Still see a few NIB on the auction sites so I may get one if I ever have any gun money to spend. The Marlin lever guns shoot with really good accuracy as well. After I got the right load going down range it will shoot the clover leaf groups too when I do my part. Lot's of folks are under the impression that these old calibers won't shoot. Just isn't the case. I have amazed many bolt guys at the range here when I pull out a lever gun and pop those 200 yard gongs. With the right bullet and load I wouldn't hesitate to take a good shot on an elk at 200 with the old 38-55.
MMCSRET, I would like to see that Winchester.
