3D printed comparator

Besides concerns with plastic bushings, I use my calipers for other things besides reloading and I’d be leery of the magnetic base magnetizing the caliper jaws. But that’s just me.
 
I'd be a little concerned about repeatability because of the flex in the polymer.

As long as you are measuring everything with the same comparators that shouldn’t be a problem.

After all they are called comparators, not measurers. They are for comparing, not actual measuring.

Having said that, They do seem like someone is trying to pay off their 3d printer. No thanks.

True, but if they flex, comparisons will be more variable than using comparators with less (or no) flex. Just another variable that one must consider.
 
Temporary and permanent deformation of the polymer bushing at the sharp edge of the mouth - aka, the bearing point against the ogive - will completely invalidate the purpose of the tool. Hard pass.
