Got mine the other day. I read it. Outstanding. It's the horror flick we all want to see/read. You don't need to read the other two to enjoy the heck out of it but it helps. There are tie-ins with the other previous books and this one provides enrichment/back story for the others. It all ties together which is the kind of really good craftsmanship you wish more writers displayed (I say this specifically because my wife is streaming 'Lost' and the writers keep pulling random junk out of their orifices. I just can't watch it.)
If you haven't read it yet, go get it. Correia redefines the werewolf genre, adds to the lore with the sensibilities of a hunter... the complete opposite of what the Twilight series did with vampires.
Did I mention that there's a recoilless rifle? And a Mosin o' Death?
I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when Loco runs into Pitt and figures out that he's the dude who beat his eye out.
