Does anyone make a .454 Casull lever action rifle? Did a search and all I could find are handguns. I'm a little surprized.

Rossi does but buyer beware. Rumour has it that the .454 lever has been tried before, but were usually scrapped because guns don't tend to hold up well. I have no personal experience with the Rossi though.

Mateba offers a carbine version of their auto-revolver in .454....

the rossi puma 454 has been out since last spring.

It is doing just fine in the market place, and is holding up well with 454Casull ammunition.
I have shot the snot outta mine without a problem. It is just as tight as the day it came out of the box last July but is a good deal smoother.

The old wive's tale about the Rossi Puma 454 lever action not handling full power .454's is just that, a wive's tale, bunk, paranoia....

I have had a Rossi 454 for awhile now, and it is turning into my favorite rifle. You should be able to pick one up for $400 to $450 depending on where you live.

I shoot HEAVY 45 Colt loads in my rifle, with nary a flinch from the gun. The action has smoothed out nicely and is tight as a drum.

The only thing that will loosen up and wear out for me shooting full power 454 Casull in the Puma 454, is my shoulder... :uhoh:
