well come to find out its 1000+ rounds in one of those spam cans for $125. I have no idea where he found them but ill ask when I go pick them up. Heath at wortham firarms got them for me. if you want his number PM me.

OK, so I had to Tach bubbafy one of my Mosin Nagants. I cut the stock down, took off the rear site which leave a small rail so I put a pistol scope on it, 2.5X NC Star, sanded the inside of the stock and free floated the barrel, sanded the stock and painted it black. stuck a sling nut on it and put a bipod on that. here is my frankenmosin. laugh if you must but I bet I get 1MOA at 100 yards now with it :D but for $95 what the he11

ok HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

its not impossible, but if it happens its pure luck, not the work of the stock or scope.

im not aware of ANY X54r that comes in any can more than the common 440 or the rare 780 and especially at that price. are you SURE ( 110% sure) that you got 54R and not say 7.62X25. ( which comes in 1224/1260 and some other crazy numbers) or 5.45X39 which comes in 1080 round cans.

lol, I knew Ide get some laughes. keep em coming :neener:
Ill be postin some groups this weakend if I can get the nerve to take it out in public, lol. Im buying the composit stock so I figured Ide mess with this one till I get it. mess I did. :p I was going to put my eotech, tach light, and laser on it to get some more laughs

Wow you are fast. You just bought those on Friday correct? And you already ruined one

+1

I'm sure it's going to either be 7.62x25 or his buddy selling him a single dusty crate of ammo that's been in his basement for ten years, but on the off-chance there's a legitimate source for $0.10/rd 54R...

the spam cans turned out to be 440 rounds and im not sure how much they are yet.

Ive already shot it like that just without the new paint job. at 100 yards with that cheap NCStar 1.5X pistol scope it shoots about 3MOA. but I got a new .308 mauser so Ill be taking it to the range again this weakend and I might pick up a 3.5X Burrus pistol scope for it. that shouldhelp out on the 100 yard line. plus every NCStar Ive had has fallen apart before a year of use.

Here is a pic of my new mauser. Its awesome. and uber customized. it even has curb finders :p

hosed it down with gun scrubber to degrease it. then sprayed it with flat black, then OD green. thats it. I didnt get the dura coat for this cheap rifle. Ill do that with my AR's. the paint I got at walmart and it works fine. Its caller Krylon camo. comes in flat black, OD Green, and Earth Brown.

So... you just laid the flat black background and randomly sprayed lines of OD green? That came out very well without patterns or templates! Awesome!

yep, thats its. Im a very distinguished artist so it shows comes out in my paintings, lol :p

Oh by the way. after actioning the bolt a couple times the paint came off of the bolt a little so I went ahead and stripped the paint off the bolt, ONLY dura coat would work on the bolt. Im going to buy Flat Black, OD Green, and Earth Brown in Dura Coat and Ill probably strip this one back down and redo it with Dura Coat when I do my AR's and Mauser. you CAN NOT scratch dura coat if you wanted to. I have a Walther P22 that I hd done in pink with Dura Cot and I can through it at the grouod and it wont scratch. good stuff

no that "gun scrubber" comes i a spray can and it evaporates very fast and leaves it spotless. I mean that stuff comes out of the can with some force and gets everything off the gun. If you clean your gun with it and dont oil it after it will rust, it takes every bit of oil, grease, and grime off. its good stuff
