Recently took delivery of a 5 Shot Leather (John Ralston) holster & belt combo.

I have had one of John's IBS (Inside Burton Scabbard ) Holsters for a couple years ( for a Colt Commander ). Picking it up from him at SHOT Show a few years ago , I was very impressed with both him & his work , I soon got on his list for a belt.

This time I decided on a UL Holster (Uncle Lou) and a basic black belt. After wearing it for 8 days now , this is the most comfortable set-up I have worn.
A properly designed and executed belt/holster combo will make you not even feel like you are wearing a sidearm.
Standing , sitting , walking , sleeping , it doesn't even feel like it is there.
Fit is nice and snug , it doesn't shift at all , and the draw is smooth as is re-holstering.

Great job John , your work is second to none , and it got the smile of approval from my subgun instructor , who was a personal friend of Lou's ( retired Rochester PD ).

Think I am going to need a matching mag pouch soon , that Safariland just looks out of place.

If you carry concealed , seriously consider John's work if you want to make carrying concealed comfortably a breeze. :rockin:

Thanks again John.

+1 John's (5 Shot Leather) craftmanship is top of the line in both aesthetics and functionality.

If you dont mind me asking an off thread topic question:

Can you please explain that unique muzzle on your Commander?

The commander is stock , perhaps you are referring to the 1991a1 Compact ( the duo-tone ) ? If so , that is a Kings Big Bushing and a custom made reverse plug and guide rod..

only pict I could find of the business end of it , will find a clearer one:
