I haven't used them myself, I stick with Eld-x or GMX. But what I've read is that the SST had trouble staying together in some higher velocity rounds like 6.5 and 22-250 and lead to the existence of the ELD-X for this reason..
H4350 is probably not going to give you max velocity in 6.5 at that bullet weight, so you would probably be fine with them.

Wayne van Zwoll used the 129 SST in 6.5CM to take an elk at 603 yards in New Mexico. Elk ran about 50 yards then dropped dead. Video ended up going "viral" on YouTube. People got hysterical here and started trashing Wayne for taking the shot. Most of us said to them "well perhaps you should not shoot that far cause you ain't Wayne van Zwoll".
Anyway the 129 SST will get it done if you can.

I just watched the video. Were they upset of the distance, bullet weight or both ? Thanks

They're ok, I've tried them in both my 6.5 PRC and 6.5 CM , I can't get them precision I want out of them. So I only use them as plinking rounds in the my AR-10 chambered in 6.5 CM. They will work and worth a shot but I wasn't that impressed with them. For that weight I really like the Berger 130gr OTMs

Both. Plus ya throw in the "anti 6.5CM crowd" and you get "hysteria".

Bet if Wayne had used a 243 with 105gr bullet there would have been way less outrage.

Probably. I live in Utah and a friend of mine does alot of elk guiding. He always tells me he's more concerned how they shoot than what they shoot. Here's my grandson's cow elk, shot at 630 yards with a 140 gr Hornady HPBT 6.5 CM

Build two 6.5CM's for my neighbors two teen daughters. Last winter during the youth elk hunt they both took an elk. Youngest, 14, got hers at 260. Hornady Precision 143 ELD X. I don't hunt anymore but I get more enjoyment of seeing young shooters get started than hunting.

I’ve had them shoot fairly accurately. Not match grade or anything, but good enough for hunting. I shot them from my 264 mag and thats waaaay to fast for them. The bullets simply explode on the hide. I then loaded them in my 6.5 swede and had close to the same results. I have most of a box in my loading room. I use them for foulers and just shooting.
