7.62 sighting in Kansas City

Hey there to all THR members in the KC area...Wanted to let you all know that I just got back from Cabela's, and they HAVE IN STOCK Wolf 7.62 X 39 122g FMJ for $64.99 per 500. It comes in the hard plastic ammo cans. (pretty good size) I checked the price of the cans themselves and they run $15 each, so the ammo alone comes out to about $100 per 1000. I grabbed 2K rounds, and they had about 20 boxes of 500 left...RUN!!!

Prices?

Well, I'm a newbie to the AK fold. Ordered a hicap Wasr-10 yesterday, but on Sun ordered 500 rds of Wolf AK 7.62x39 122 HP from Cheaperthandirt - total price with delivery $86.

Pricey? Yeah, but it was available. Arrived today in fact. I maybe could have done a bit better, but with the AK's arrival likely before the weekend, I wanted a stash of ammo on hand to at least try it out.


Just waiting for the extra 30 rd Bulgarian mag to arrive. If all goes according to plan, I have a suspicion I might burn that 500 rounds before noon. Then I can go ammo shopping again online that night
