Probably it's just me, but I'd give it a wide berth because of the name. It seems brimming with hubris.
And I thought April !st was months away! The cartridge does not exist. That's what to know about it. It's all smoke and mirrors at this point.

Exactly right. They are used on some short barreled ARs as a sort of backdoor way to keep port pressures down. The coiled gas tube is not new nor limited to YouTube Inventions.
You just have to have a little faith. The cartridge does not exist. That's what to know about it. It's all smoke and mirrors at this point.
The capacity of the standard 7.62x39 is already underutilized, especially in the US. A simple long overdue pressure update by SAAMI to bring it inline with C.I.P. is all it would take. That, and a pledge by US ammo makers to add the 300 to 400 fps it's capable of. No change in the case is necessary. No double shoulder angles or any such horse hockey needed.
Forget the cartridge closeup, what about that wacky spiral gas tube? I can see that vibrating with each shot and lasting about 4 rounds fired before it bursts!
I'm sure you meant, throw yourself out!You just have to have a little faith.
I’ll just show myself out now.
Yes, all that is true when we're speaking of a real cartridge. But this guy is hiding the "Yahweh" cartridge from view. That's the first red flag. Contrast his behavior with Bill Wilson and his 300 HAMR, which just recently gained SAAMI status. Wilson had closeups and specs all over the place. There was plenty of load and performance data to be found for the HAMR.Lots of ”new” rounds are just old ones loaded for modern propellants and rifles, then they do something to make them NOT backwards compatible, to keep people from getting hurt by using them in an old firearm than can’t contain the additional pressure.
A longer case is pretty common, they added a belt to the 450 Marlin and it’s not even as “hot” as you can load the 45-70 for a Ruger #1 but it’s more than you would want to set off in an old trapdoor, thus the part that makes it incompatible, with them.
Some don’t ensure this and kabooms take place as people put the wrong stuff into firearms. Google “300blk in 223 kaboom photos”, for lots of examples.
Changing things might not be for any improvement but to help save people from themselves.
Saw this Sunday and still glad I didn't ask. I've made some higher psi Russian rounds for certain Russian shooters. Mine are named " flat primer Mcgee " and "just one more grain"
