I settled on the .338-06 and over all the years I lived and hunted in Alaska, I never felt underguned hunting big bears, or taking anyone else out, hunting them.

I don't disagree, I have plenty of other rifles and hunt with a 338 RCM.

But sometimes, as my uncle says, "ain't no such thing as too dead".
