Ok id like to start this with iv tried retypeing this 20 times or so, but i just keep makeing a massive amount of typos or it just sounds stupid. This is gonna be my last attempt to not sounds stupid typeing it since its almost 1 am and i didnt get to sleep last night.

Last week i ordered this mauser 98k and it finnaly arrived. When i picked it up the gun dealer informed me i acctualy got lucky and obtained a fairly rare pice in the fact that all the parts were the origonal parts and they matched so it was just as if it came off of production in 1944. After looking it over i am now curious as to what all the stamps mean so i am also looking for a place where i can look that up if there is any help out there. To continue my story i got the rifle home and showed it to my dad and he thinks its a nice gun. to add to this treasure he showed me one of his old guns which he has only recently started doing (this being the seconed time i have seen a gun of his). It was a 1917 springfield and from what i know it has 4 stars he said but could not remeber where they were on it meaning it was sniper certified before it was demiliterized and made into a hunting rifle. well i got both guns over to my friends house and got some pictures of them. I would love to post them on here but i cant seem to figure out how without putting them on a website which i do not have.
